I'm loving...
ALL THINGS ORGANIC. I am learning that they hold more value than I ever imagined. So... going forward, I'm striving to implement more organic into my daily life by way of foods & products, and 100% organic into my mom's daily life. It's essential. Tips? Share. ASAP. Thanks.

I'm also loving these delightful shoes from J. Crew, in pewter paisley. The heel is NOT quite high enough but otherwise they're darling. So Marie Antoinette (that ALWAYS attracts me, always). J'adore.

And lastly, this amazing find of a necklace owned & worn by my dearest Kristakins. We spotted it last week at Forever 21 (can't find IT on their site, but this one's equally cool & whimsical!). She was on the fence about it late last week, but she's rocking it again today and I am smitten. Layers of chains, birds & leaves = chic brilliance & for cheap!!

Love,
Sunlovey

You know, it has grown on me. Thanks for featuring my necklace on your blog. It's the little things that make us happiest.

And I fully believe in the power of eating organic. After all, you know what they say, "You are what you eat."

  2. OH RIGHT. DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN LET THAT SAYING BE TRUE.

MUST get rid of the cleaning and beauty supplies too though. because apparently you are what you put in your hair, on your face and clean with too.

Ordered mom organic deodorant, lotion and soap today... it's a start!

p.s. i may have to BORROW that beauty! pretty please?!

for us, organic is also about working toward being **local**, that way you have a healthier body, family , and community--Durham has a great local food scene

  4. shane... local is IDEAL no doubt. and we're working on that. but my parents live in lake wales, florida which is NOT QUITE the organic metropolis. it's a valiant goal though, to get as much as we can for my mom in her own neck of the woods. promise.

grew up in raleigh/durham, that is another scene entirely, one i miss!

  5. yeah, local is hard to do; we just try to make little steps that way... I didn't know you were from here--durham is really the happening place these days, still gritty, but very up-and-coming now. Praying for your mom.
