feels so very good to feel like self when not self. to craft a look that keeps you from feeling like a gigantic floating monstrosity with good year printed upon it.

have to say, also, combining a bright islandy beaded bracelet with tough gold spikes—well, that was like my piece de resistance, yesterday. i felt pride for pairing the two pieces together. a glittery black abstract ruffle tank paired back to a tribal bloom smocked waist skirt, also a juxtaposition i felt, intensely. ok i'm going to shut up now, it was just one of those days.
